PRG: Hope is always the last to die!

Like a bolt from the blue, this afternoon we received the news that planning commission has been voted and approved the variation to the PRG on Pillirina (Plemmirio). A fantastic news that the crown and reward all the efforts made in recent months by the various associations and ordinary citizens who fought to ensure that a devastation of this scale against a place that is so precious for all the Syracusans what Plemmirio ( Pillirina commonly called by many) was at least put into question. The argument of course is not closed, since the document will then be discussed and approved by the council, but a first step has been taken and it is with great joy that we give the news to all those who are following the story Plemmirio / Pillirina and who care about their city. We hope that this can make it clear to those they have never believed in and to all those who gave to the affair ended, which is not over and you go forward with the hope that many other people join the battle to save the Plemmirio and Syracuse by the cement!

original release:
One week after delivery of the resolutions of the PRG variant, more than three weeks questioning at the headquarters planning, check here is a statement of the UDC for the territory (out of place given the term intentions of the document) that rings like a real attack in all her work in recent months by members of the planning commission, the various associations and by the same mayor who Only two weeks ago said that he fully agrees with the decision to submit the current prg to variations due to the inadequacy dello stesso, sviluppato su una previsione di crescita demografica che avrebbe dovuto portare Siracusa a superare i 160.000 abitanti ma che in realtà è ferma da oltre un decennio a 120.000.
Nel documento indirizzato a sindaco Councillor and members of the planning commission, says, "to revise the plan during its validity would expose the City Council to an endless series of disputes resulting in economic damage in the body of enormous magnitude. Just think of that citizen or entrepreneur who bought land on the basis of a certificate of urban planning and destination, for a change of political schizophrenia is seen suddenly change the rules on their own land and are asked to postpone the debate at the end of the PRG ". In addition to futility of the proposal to address the revision of the PRG when in fact all the havoc will be now made, once again it tends to preserve gli interessi del singolo privato (quasi sempre straniero) a discapito della collettività, di tutti i siracusani che si vedono di volta in volta privati delle loro risorse paesaggistiche culturali e soprattutto economiche, fonti di richiamo per turisti che arrivano da tutte le arti del mondo per ammirare le bellezze della nostra terra siracusana, cosa sempre più rara in una città divorata dal cemento che dagli anni 60 invade senza soluzione di continuità il nostro territorio.
Nel comunicato si parla anche di documento “Di Giovanni”, con riferimento alle proposte di variante, tendendo a strumentalizzarle, quando in realtà sono il frutto di mesi e mesi di proposte analisi e discussioni advanced on social, cultural and environmental associations, individual citizens and by the same politicians who just two weeks ago at a meeting held at the Church of St. Paul Father Rosario Lo Bello had agreed unanimously on the need to change before the PRG was too late. At the same meeting over to the Mayor were present on. Nicita, Pippo Gianni, Vinciullo, Spain, Confalone, Gentile, and city councilors and county commissioners and many other illustrious names of the Syracusan politics. At the words, now it's time to see action and it is good that everyone from the mayor Visentin assume responsibility for those things to put an end to the now renamed "Festival of the cement of Syracuse."
We are at a turning point that may ultimately decides the fate of Syracuse and we need the participation of all, to assert the rights of Syracuse and not to become passive accomplices of the devastation in our area and conceded counter actively consequences.

How To Repair An Emergency Light

WHILE Rome Talks, SAGUNTO BURNS! An end to the season of concrete for 50 years disfigure our town and it is done in a hurry.

Yesterday morning at the premises of the City of Syracuse, was held a protest march to raise awareness of all members of the Planning Commission that will decide this week on the proposed variant PRG to bring the then pending before the City Council, on the sensitivity of the issue they dealt with that can decide the fate of our city permanently, from the point of view, economic, tourist and landscape.
The protesters, belonging to the study center David against Goliath and Grilli Aretusea - accompanied by Maria Rita Sgarlata, delegate of the Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archaeology to the catacombs of Syracuse - were wearing T-shirts bearing a photo of the most beautiful coastal area of Syracuse, the Pillirina, and the word 'while Rome Talks, Sagunto burning' (ie the translation of Livy, which gave the Cardinal Pappalardo's funeral from the Church).
All members were given bags of earth and flowers symbolically picked Syracuse to Pillirina - where there should be born in about a giant resort, all of which means that good and that resource which is the land of which we are all children in Syracuse and that increasingly tends to disappear, to be sold and overwhelmed by the cement.
result is a beautiful and timely discussion with the members present at the conclusion that some intended to deliver later this month that the summary document to the City Council, which in turn parties and city councilors will take over at the time of their vote responsibility. One negative note within
An interesting dialogue: some components of the planning committee supported the need for a game on the downside, it is difficult to change things. A terrific example of them: the buildings could be built Pillirina height to save space in width.
One other sad note was the statement by Salvo Sorbello president of planning commission. He declared it impossible to proceed in the work due to the unavailability of a technical document to draw up the resolution for the variation. According to Sorbello as a technical architect Navarre should ignore its commitments and devote a whole week for the preparation of the draft version, what in his view impossible. In our opinion, given the scope of the topic deserves more than a week since the damage caused by a mishandling of the situation would be eternal.
At this point, if the committee is said to be available later this month approved the long-awaited proposals for variation one wonders why Sorbello has raised this issue just now and think how to solve it.
Finally, we also wanted to emphasize before the planning commission that we are not environmental extremists, but we want only to be places serious limits to the sprawl of concrete and construction of buildings, whether commercial centers, tourist villages and cooperatives and that these limits are respected.
A plan should have provided ordinary landscapes relevant areas and to ensure that these can be built. The Master Plan of Syracuse, but has provided concrete cubic Disproportionate its most beautiful areas such as Pillirina el'Epipoli. Seriously believe that the members of the Administration cha did this absurd plan should now walk with a bag over his head in shame.
Meanwhile we continue to discuss, but our question remains the same, we will later this month whether or not this document?

Havea Ingrown Hair By My Knee Why Is It Hot

David and Goliath is just the right word! Mayor

Hello guys, these days will decide the future of Syracuse if it is permanently destroyed and removed from the concrete to places like Syracuse or pillirina, the Dionysian walls and other even as we discussed earlier, will save even further from what is now thought process but that seems to be unstoppable been affected. He takes part of all the politicians, including the mayor, the discussion on variants of the PRG is emblematic of the fact that we have already succeeded in putting them in a position to take responsibility for their decisions and responsibilities that are now visible to everyone. Yesterday two major newspapers like the Journal of the South and Sicily (click and read the articles) was taken on the topic PRG and reported in part because we had already been written and recorded in the previous post about the meeting which took place last Saturday at the church of San Paolo in Ortigia. So we are all waves, it is able to ride it and not fall down. The argument that only a few months ago was only interested in groups like David against Goliath (the Father Bello) and Nature Grillini Aretusea Sicilian, became public domain and therefore there is a real chance to succeed in our aim of "save Syracuse." The mayor said he is ready to dialogue and expects to do so with everyone, including the individual citizen but also said that if the variants were first presented the project would be forced to accept them and this makes us suspect that in the coming weeks could get together all projects in Questin, from the tourist village of Pillirina to that of the hundreds of houses under the Dionysian walls and who knows what other floor area of devastation. In a few days released the now famous summary document containing proposals for changes to be brought to the PRG, then the debate will move to the city council for approval of same and it is them that need the participation of all present in the municipal council to enforce our rights and for Syracuse not to become passive accomplices of the devastation of our land instead actively conceded the consequences.

How Much Are Joint Rolling Machines

Visentin on PRG - May 8, 2010 - Church of San Paolo.a

Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Church of St. Paul in Ortigia, kindly made available by the pastor Rosario Lo Bello was discussed at a meeting chaired by Mr. Unless Benanti, to discuss proposed changes to the PRG. The meeting was attended by representatives of Syracuse including policy advisers Ettore Di Giovanni, R. De Benedictis, C. Castelluccio, P. Maltese, G. Garofalo, the chairman of planning commission Salvatore Sorbello, lassessore Public Works C. La Bianca, prof. So you just have to respond to and participate in all the discussion regarding the future of our beloved city of Syracuse.

May 9, 1978 a date to remember!

Sunday, May 9, 2010 marks the 32nd anniversary of the death of a great man who gave his life to Sicily in the hope of giving a future without corruption, without malaffari without the mafia. His name was
Peppino Impastato and his newspaper wrote "LA MAFIA E 'A MOUNTAIN OF SHIT !!!". Hated by many and considered a failure, a madman, a scassaminchia, become an icon in the fight against the Mafia but to this day remains in the shadows, almost forgotten, as if those who govern us agree that a recall and commemorate those who went against the common interests of our class politics. "I came to politics back in November of '65, on purely emotional: that is, starting from my need to respond to a familial condition which has become unsustainable. My father, head of the small clan and a member of a clan more huge, with ideological connotations typical of a late-rural and preindustrial civilization, had concentrated all his efforts, since my birth, in an attempt to impose on me his choices and his code of conduct. It 'only been able to cut each channel of affective communication and compromise permanently any possibility of linear expansion of my subjectivity "these few words of Peppino taken from his biography . Cinisi May 6 to 9 in the square and at Peppino's house there will be many meetings, screenings and events RADIO 100 steps broadcast live streaming for all three days. Here in Syracuse was made a petition and collected hundreds of signatures to name a street Syracuse Peppino Impastato. Signatures that lie more than a year a drawer of our mayor, who until recently said he was in favor of the initiative and would do what was required. It would be fantastic to do that this Sunday on the anniversary, but pure utopia. We are content of any day as long as is made as soon as possible.

Walk through the fields with the heart suspended

Nikky Diaper Covers For Sale

THE FESTIVAL OF THE CEMENT OF SYRACUSE

The more skeptical and less tied to the discourses of "typical environmentalist" will stand by saying that four stones placed them, are useless and that a tourist brings jobs and wealth in Syracuse ... shame that this company " Magdalene Ltd elem " (with a capital of just € 10,000 poor, stuff to do at least a fat laugh saw their projects) have a sole director who is resident in Geneva, based in Amsterdam and its registered office at Via Vittor Pisani n.20. You also do not understand why the idea of tourism here in Syracuse is solely and exclusively linked alla costruzione di villaggi turistici ( così come il commercio è legato a quello dei mega centri commerciali) che stuprano ed impoveriscono il territorio. La storia siamo noi ed è a questo punto della storia che si deciderà se Siracusa dovrà essere venduta e seppellita dal cemento dei villaggi attractions, shopping centers, houses, co-op and all that will go to your head to these four idiots dressed up as politicians ... we have already cheated once with the petrochemical and illegal building of the coast .. . let's not take more for the cul ... call us to "province babba" and it is time to ourselves off this title ... Syracuse is ours, of Syracuse, and all those who want to admire and respect its beauty, TENIAMOCELA CLOSE!
